1960 Upholstered Teak Armchair by Greaves and Thomas
This mid century, teak armchair has very nice, stylish shaped arms with an upholstered back and box seat cushion. Greaves and Thomas were a good quality manufacturer of furniture based in Essex. Many of their designs were influenced by the Scandinavian trends of the time as seen here with this attractive chair. This chair dates to the early to mid 1960s .
The chair has had new upholstery, including re webbing, new foam box cushion and then upholstered in lovely pure new wool from Abraham Moon in tones of pale blue making it very versatile.
The frame has been cleaned and oiled and is in lovely condition .
