1960s J Belarte tiled wall plaque

We really like the work of the Belgian tile artist J Belarte which were usually designed for coffee table tops . We’ve seen some table tops used as wall panels before , but this was always intended to be a tiled panel for hanging .

Its 124.5cms x 31.5cms , so its pretty heavy in its original black iron frame .

One of the reasons we really like Belarte pieces is that there are so many different designs , and all really well painted .
