Eilersen of Denmark oak three seat sofa from the late 1960s

Eilersen of Denmark oak three seat sofa from the late 1960s . A lovely design which we couldn’t find shown on a search for Eilersen pieces . It retains its Eilersen label and Danish Furniture Control label which is usually only found on pieces from the 1960s . A number of designers designed for Eilersen , the best known being Illum Wikkelso who came up with the famous Capella series for them along with another well known model .

We’ve given the solid oak frame a light clean and oil , so it’s now in lovely condition . Our price includes new webbing , and new foam cushions to UK 1988 Fire Regs standards . The shaped back panels can be covered in the same fabric as the cushions , or as at present with a related fabric or contrasting fabric , as can the side cushions . This gives you various options when choosing fabric or fabrics . The loose cushions will have zipped covers , so that they’re easily replaced if you want a change . All we need is your fabric , and we’d expect to need a total of around 6 metres of fabric . This light shade of oak is great as it looks good with neutrals like greys as well as more vibrant colours .
