Mid Century Danish Armchair.
This lovely, well proportioned armchair is by one of the many Danish furniture manufacturers of the time that produced these quality chairs around a similar design. This one has a little more detail than some. With an extra panel at the edge of the inside back, above the arm. It is well made, has a sprung seat and solid teak legs which screw into the base.
This style of armchair looks really well with new upholstery, easily brought up to date and the scale and size fit in with today’s interiors.
The armchair will need to be re upholstered to comply with current fire regulations. This can be done by your own upholsterer or we can do it here. It will require 4 meters of your choice of fabric. we have a selection of pure new wool’s from £55 per meter, Cotton Linen union at £38.50 and a great re worked Jens Risom woven wool, which is very much like the original fabric this chair is in at £106 per meter. The upholstery work would cost £240.
So for example the armchair upholstered in a Pure new wool in a colour of your choice will cost £860.
