Scarce McIntosh 1960s rosewood Dunsyre dining cocktail cabinet

Scarce McIntosh 1960s rosewood Dunsyre dining cocktail cabinet

We sourced this lovely cabinet from the family of the original owners who had purchased it new in 1965 . We’ve currently got and sold the teak version which was called the Dundas . In 1965 this rosewood version was about a third more expensive than the teak one , so understandably isn’t seen as often .

It was faded down one side and unevenly on the top where something had stood for years , so we’ve had it cleaned and re-polished so that it looks great again . Lovely quality as you’d expect from McIntosh of Kirkcaldy at this time .

Its 129cms high and 112cms wide , 46cms deep .
