1960’s Hans Christian Andersen teak hexagonal small table for Artek

This unmarked well made teak and laminate table is a well known design by a little known Mid-Century designer called Hans Christian Andersen . It’s not an Ugly Duckling ! You’ll see them in teak or rosewood with either teak tops or laminates of different colours . There are some crazy prices on First Dibs particularly when found in pairs .

Some of the joints were loose so we’ve taken it apart and re-glued it as well as cleaning the teak . The black laminate top is in good vintage condition with some minor scratches if you look very closely .
